In celebration of the 196th anniversary of the Mexican Independence, as tradition, the Mexican Consul in Chicago will replay the “Cry of Dolores”, just as Father Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla did the night of September 15th in 1810.
A celebration to be enjoyed by everyone, the event will feature musical presentations by regional Mexican bands, the famous mariachi groups, as well as other genres that will appeal to an audience of all ages.
With performances by the folklore ballets, “Mexican Dance Ensemble” and “Holy Cross National Folklore Ballet”, this afternoon is sure to be unforgettable. |
